Digital session format

Please note that the conference takes place from 5–9 December in a unique format:
5–6 December: DGA onsite meeting
6–9 December: DGA, ECA and ICA digital conference

Session format of the digital part
1. Symposia
    • Run via pre-recorded presentations only
    • At the meeting, the presentations are moderated by the chairmen and then played back
    • Speakers and chairmen are connected live via zoom
    • During the session, participants can ask questions via the chat function below the stream (throughout the entire session)
    • Right after the lecture or at the end of the symposium, the question and answer session (live) follows, alternating with the respective answering speaker or the chairperson(s)

2. Plenary lectures
    • A combination of recorded and live presentations is possible - depending on the speaker's preference
    • At the meeting, the presentations are moderated by the chairmen and then played back
    • Speakers and chairmen are connected live via zoom
    • During the session, participants can ask questions via the chat function below the stream (throughout the entire session)
    • Right after the lecture or at the end of the symposium, the question and answer session (live) follows, alternating with the respective answering speaker or the chairperson(s)

3. ePoster  
    • Registered participants can view the ePosters and any accompanying presentations individually and at any time.
    • Additionally there will be live poster sessions for all participants taking place in Zoom
    • ePoster Autors are required to be present and hold a short live presentation
    • The ePosters will be available after the congress, provided that the authors have given their consent.
